The Golden Lamb Introduces New Menu

The Golden Lamb is a vibrant, familiar gathering place for the community to dine and stay since 1803. We’ve been fortunate enough to host 12 United States presidents and other famous names in the last 213 years, but we’ve also been honored to host generations of families who come together at our tables and share a meal.

We’re proud to present a new menu that features a great mix of new flavors guests will love and traditional favorite dishes we’re known for. As always, our food is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients from around the region whenever possible.

We’re still serving our guest-favorite fried chicken, using the same recipe we’ve used for over 100 years, but now you can choose from the traditional three pieces with salad, bread, mashed potatoes and gravy, and seasonal vegetables; in addition, we’re now offering fried chicken baskets. Order a quarter or half bird with fries, local honey and coleslaw.

You can still expect the meals we’re known for, like roast turkey, braised lamb shank, hickory-roasted prime rib and the same sauerkraut balls we’ve served for more than 70 years; but we think you’ll enjoy new flavors like creamy ricotta and honey dip, noodles and ale cheese with smoked chicken and Andouille sausage, and the sticky burger: house-made peanut butter, bacon, barbecue, sharp cheddar, garlic aioli, and crispy onions.
