Meranda Nixon wine dinner at Golden Lamb

Golden Lamb continues its tradition of creating unique dining events in partnership with the best producers in the region with the Meranda-Nixon Wine Dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 at the Golden Lamb.

The evening will feature a five-course meal created by Golden Lamb Executive Chef Nick Roudebush and his culinary team, perfectly paired with wines from Meranda-Nixon Winery, a family-owned, premium vineyard located in Ripley, Ohio. The menu for the evening includes:


Duo of house cured canapés with smoked salmon, herb cheese and fried capers, duck BLT with cured duck breast, heirloom tomatoes and spinach

paired with Sparkling Catawba


Bronzed colossal sea scallop with Honey Haven Farm Bartlett pear chutney, rendered pancetta

paired with Trotter White


Local mushroom crepe with pearl onions, charred carrot in a red oak creek mornay sauce, and pecorino

paired with Red Oak Creek


Peppercorn crusted lamb loin with creamy goat cheese polenta, Swiss chard and clove infused jus

paired with Cabernet Sauvignon


Cherry and peach cobbler with Madagascar vanilla gelato and whipped cream

paired with Norton

Meranda-Nixon Winery Owners Seth and Maura Meranda and Golden Lamb’s culinary team will join guests for the meal to discuss tasting notes, history of the varietals, and the dishes. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Golden Lamb at (513) 932-5065. Reservations are $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
