Meet the Flock: Diane Verhoff
Since 1803, we’ve been a gathering place. With that legacy comes a whole host of wonderful personalities who have helped make the Golden Lamb what it is today. As we tell stories of our past, we also want to bring you tales from the legends of our present!
Meet Diane Verhoff, our Accountant and Bookkeeper! Since Diane joined us in June, she has been a vital part of the Golden Lamb team, overseeing our financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day, and more. Get to know Diane as she shares her story in her own words!
Q: When did you start working at The Golden Lamb?
I started working at The Golden Lamb in June of 2025.
Q: What do your responsibilities include?
I am responsible for all aspects of Accounting, Payroll and some HR responsibilities.
Q: Did you grow up in Cincinnati? If so, what part? If not, where are you from and how did you end up in Cincinnati?
I did not grow up in Cincinnati. I grew up in a small farming community in Northwest Ohio (Miller City, Ohio). I moved to West Chester 13 years ago.
Q: What does it mean to you to be part of the Golden Lamb legacy?
Being a part of the Golden Lamb legacy is very special. From the moment I interviewed for the position, I knew I wanted to be a part of the Golden Lamb family.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
I am the youngest of 9: 6 brothers and 2 sisters. My family gatherings are huge! I think this is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Golden Lamb. The history of the Golden Lamb and the traditions that families make here are important to me.
Q: What is your favorite item on The Golden Lamb menu?
There are lots of great items on the menu! My favorite appetizer has to be the Sauerkraut balls! I love the Signature House Salad with Salmon and the Fried Chicken Club Sandwich as well. Of course, you can't go wrong with the Thursday night Burger of the Week either! I love trying new things and these burgers are always unique and very good!

I am very honored to be a part of the Golden Lamb and its rich history!
